Apostille
The Apostille is a simplified legalization process for public documents intended for use in countries that are members of the Haya Convention. The competent authority in each member country issues this certification, which verifies the authenticity of the signature and the capacity of the official who issued the document.
This method eliminates the need for additional legalizations, enabling documents from member countries to be legally recognized abroad. It’s important to remember that the apostille only applies to public documents, and these must have the appropriate chain of certifications. Additionally, if the destination country requires a translation, that translation must also be apostilled.
